We come across many companies opting for logo or complete identity. Very few of us are able to know what was the reason for the change. Here in this article we have formulated several reasons which could be behind that change.

Differentiation Strategy
The organization has maintained certain standards as part of their major principle. Since the company is operating globally, the organization has to differentiate considered the location and the demands of the customers. For instance, demands of local customers will not be similar to that of foreign customers. Another factor of differentiation being reason for logo change is evident in strategy designing. On the other hand, old businesses demand for sophisticated and classic interior.
Differentiation strategy is also used when there is the threat of new entrants which is very low in this sector knowing the level Organization is operating in. Being an established business, new entrants will require a huge investment to compete on that level. Even if that happens, customers are expected to come back to Organization where they obtained memorable treatment and better value.

To expand its operation and enter into new markets, Organization finds a market development strategy very significant. By entering new regions and markets, Organization can serve as a major growth driver of the hotels expansion strategy and company’s revenue. If an organization has all means of investment to develop itself in every state, and every city, then starting with logo change would be a great option. The company is looking forward to be the top preferences of people all around the globe. The vision and mission of the company challenge the future of its existence and its reputation. The challenge in this manner is to expand, grow, and that too while maintaining the reputation. The organization has been able to develop a market with the help of its ongoing growth and brand image. The industry is powered by the buyers or visitors coming to utilize their services. Since, the number of alternatives is much in this sector, the absolute customer service is provided to ensure their satisfaction. The reason behind opting for a good market development strategy with a logo is that they can select alternate organization over another.

 Information Technology
New technological developments bring about new trends in logo design. The organization tries to avail many unseen and unexpected opportunities which help the company grow further. Opportunities if leverages properly can turn into strengths in the future. The opportunities may include changes in consumer preferences, a new technological development, relaxing government policies, removal of trade barriers, and even altering the demographics of the society.  Such opportunities are identified by conducting market research every now and then, and analyse the changes encountered. Technology is changing at a very past pace. It has become hard for every organization to cope up with the technological changes. However, Organization to keep itself ahead of the competition invests in technological updates quite a lot. 1. Great article to read. I also agree with this statement, some established businesses also change their logos whenever they feel that their business is not doing so well and the revenue growth is not matching their expectations. I recently read such a great infographic about history & evolution of logo design which is really helpful to know about the history behind different logos.
